FERMENTED WITH HONEY
Sitting in a bourbon barrel for a year has given the Gladstone Black Braggot a deep, dark body and imparted a sweet, smoky aroma. The first thing you’ll notice when you take a sip of is that the sweet aroma carries over quite strongly and honey flavour is very apparent. But instead of stealing the show it is complimented by dry Black Malt, roasty chocolate malt and a dash of lightly bitter Magnum hops. The second thing you’ll notice is that you’re a bit warmer, which is due to the 11.5% alcohol content. Just before Christmas in 2016, in a very Grinch-ly turn of events, 5 50L kegs of this extremely limited brew were stolen from the brewery - perhaps aging somewhere out there.
